Just like in previous years I ask all members of the things they like or dislike at this board (including across the whole site) and if they have suggestions or ideas they wish to raise in which it can be improved. You are welcome to post your comments here or send them to me either by PM or email...

Well... one year on and as part of my annual review if you have any suggestions or constructive criticism(s) about ways I can improve the forum and the site in general for the year ahead please let me know. Your input and feedback is greatly appreciated...

* Removing shoutbox from main window was really nice, thank you! :)
* The biggest annoyance still are crack requests from freshly registered members. But I'll admit - admins are doing wonderful job deleting those posts.
* Blog feature is pretty much unused, maybe Ted could be the first to start blogging regularly? ;)
* "Digital Forensics" and "Software Testing and Static Analysis" subsections are almost empty. Are they worth keeping?

Some people liked it and some people didn't so rather than have it continually shoved in the faces of those who did not want to see it I decided to move it. It also has the advantage of dampening peoples enthusiasm for spamming shouts for immediate attention with links to their newly created topic.

Unfortunately this will be an ongoing issue but it is a lot better than it once was. I used to have to trash and ban numerous people on a daily basis a few years back but now its maybe one or two a week. This is probably due to a different type of site visitor than we once got which is good news in itself.

True but it is there now so I'll leave the platform open for the odd few to take advantage of it when possible. I personally don't have the time nor enthusiasm to blog and I doubt I would have anything interesting to blog about either Posted Image

These are new forums so I don't expect much action and especially since the areas are targeted towards specific fields where those persons I presume would/have not generally visited here. Hopefully it will pick up and people will start some interesting topics to follow.

Thanks for the comments and your kind words, if you continue to have ideas or criticisms please raise them to me... Posted Image
