Looking forward to it.....

I have some question to all concern:
(P.S Except on Lena's tut for a start) :D

What's the fastest way to learn cracking if there's any? :P

Just curious!

I posted a solution to ReverseMe#2. http://www.tuts4you....amp;#entry61991
This gives away 99.999% of the solution, or not? Post your own solutions here in reply ...

Over at ARTeam, I made this poll but I'm also interested in your opinion here. So, the question is the following: I read recently that anything and everything is crackable, and this even within a "reasonable" (1 month) amount of time. Yeah, we all read already somewhere that "if it runs, it can be cracked" and more of the likes, but is this really true? Let's see what you think ...

BTW, I'm not questioning the theoretical question. Of course -theoretically- there is a way to circumvent any protection. The question is meant as "Can the skilled coder implement so many twists and turns in his program that it becomes so hard and difficult that it is never/ever defeatable?"

And I'm not talking about packers/protectors who are indeed always crackable because those need an automated way to pack/protect which can always be reconstructed.

So, if you haven't voted on ARTeam board, let's see what you think ...

Regards,
lena151.
PS I voted for #1

Everything and anything written by a man or woman can be cracked. The de-terming factors is time and effort

Since when can I crack anything?
Thanks for the compliment, but even in SND there are so much better reverse enineers than me:
Ziggy, syk071c, MaRKuS, PakMan and to be honest all the others ;)
I´m not a "as good as possible" cracker, not too bad either, but most people in a team are way better than me.
I came into the team as a "usual" reverser, and I´m currently more learning than releasing.
Maybe I´ll try the Challenge...

greetz

I like you most, coz you speak my language (german :yahoo:  [well most people from Team SnD do  ]) and coz you'r just really good. lol  :flowers:
No offence to anybody else from team snd. It's just my opinion. Don't take it personally.
lol
Anyway i've got full hope in you cracking this beast!!!  :yahoo:

Oh
PS It's off-topic but please help me http://www.tuts4you....showtopic=12963
Sorry

yaa it is possible if any file will be run then its crack will also be run ....

In your own personal opinion what is the hardest copy protection there is to reverse engineer?

Thanks in advance for all who take the time to reply :)

Considering Snd's skills hmm it's useless to protect.. :)

Enthusiasm and all aside, some dongles offer very good protection. And code virtualization sucks hard too - the more ****ed up the handlers, the more it sucks.
But, i see no point in continuing this conversation. It's being brought to discussion to every board at least once every trimester.
And it serves no other purpose, than helping authors choose the funkiest stuff.

Lots of threads on this... it all depends on how well the protection is implemented by the author. But Execryptor, Themida, and Securom seems to be the most difficult.

I think everything can. Simply because once a new protection is released people already work at trying to break it. Given time everything can be cracked

Your request at the request board is irrelevant to this topic.

Quote

This topic has been trashed because the request cannot be registered.

Online stuff cannot be cracked by simple physical barriers.. Nothing to do with protection..

We're talking about protection here.. And everything is crackable then..
